The China-Thailand team for SDIM held their second academic seminar in Bangkok, Thailand from February 20 to 27, 2015 and discussed issues that concerned the Thai government the most, such as disasters, soil erosion and urbanization, with Prof. Somphop Purivigraipong, Rector of Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency, Chiwat Navephab, Director of Satellite Positioning Division of the Thai Department of Lands, and Pisit Boonsrimuang, Director of Computer Science Research Centre, King Mongkut's Institute of Technology.
