"SDIM drought spatial information survey system" technology is transferred to Kyrgyzstan
September 30.2014
After nearly two years of technology accumulation and integration, the center has formed a series of technical achievements in space disaster reduction, including satsee system and SDIM drought spatial information survey system. In 2014, in response to the technical needs of developing countries in the "Silk Road Economic Belt" for space disaster reduction, the center facilitated the construction and installation of the "virtual earth station system" in Kyrgyzstan, which can provide near live, full-resolution remote sensing images to meet the data gap of Kyrgyzstan in emergency monitoring. At the same time, after a discussion with the Kyrgyz Ministry of agriculture in September, the technology transfer of the "SDIM drought spatial information survey system" based on mobile terminals to Kyrgyzstan was launched.
