The 4th Digital Belt and Road Conference (DBAR 2019) was held in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province on December 19, 2019, with the theme of “ Digital Belt and Road Services and Sustainable Development”, focusing on the assessment of the sustainable development goals (SDGs) indicators of the “Belt and Road” countries through big earth data.

SDIM was responsible for organizing the parallel session of “Big Earth Data Supports Disaster Mitigation and Climate Change” simultaneously. International experts in the field of disaster reduction from Japan, Nepal, Pakistan, Malaysia, and Bangladesh, and Chinese experts in disaster reduction from different units discussed various topics related to disaster reduction and the cooperation matters regarding big earth data supports the SDGs of Southeast Asia in disaster reduction were emphatically discussed.
