On October 16, SDIM and other organizations (including International Centre on Space Technologies for Natural and Cultural Heritage of UNESCO) jointly held the Seminar on Big Earth Data for Disaster Risk Reduction and Sustainable Development of World Heritage in Jiuzhaigou, Sichuan. The theme was to use spatial information technology for promoting disaster risk reduction of world heritage and sustainable development of world heritage sites.
