A round table dialogue with the theme “Learning from Geo Open Data Platforms that Worked in the Midst of a Pandemic”, as part of the Virtual UN World Data Forum, was held on the afternoon of October 19. The dialogue focused on three aspects: data quality, data completeness, and data platform. Chen Fang, the representative of SDIM, introduced the dig data research on disaster risk reduction for BRI countries, and provided new ways and models for open data access to help the developing countries with technical bottlenecks in data access and application of disaster mitigation.
