Global Assessment Report on Disaster Risk Reduction (GAR) is a UN flagship publication published once in every two years and provides comprehensive evaluation and analysis of global disaster risks and risk management situation.

On December 4, 2015, SDIM and the UN International Strategy for Disaster Reduction (UNISDR) jointly hosted the launch ceremony for the 2015 GAR at the RADI headquarters and attracted over 80 participants from government departments, the private sector, non-governmental organizations, UN and other international organizations as well as institutions of higher education and research institutes.
